Hello, I'm Amir and I finished my Masters a year ago, I worked the last year and thought to my self I need to see more of the world before I settle down, so I now I'm backpacking accross South America for 6 months. I'm new to couchsurfing and I was a bit hesitant to join, but a lot of friends tried it and loved it, so I am willing to try this new concept of travelling. I think the best part of it will be experiencing a place with a local, as you see all the hiden gems and get to immerse yourself with the culture more directly.

I'm 25 years old, and enjoy all kinds of sports, music and food, so I'm always looking to try new stuff. I like to learn new things, whether learning new languages, travelling to new places or anything that makes me richer in experience and wiser.

I'm Arab, and I met a lot of people who were very curios about us, specially after hearing all the bad stereotypes in the media, but trust me, we are very sweet and kind :) so if you have any questions about my culture/country/traditions, please don't be shy to ask, as asking breaks down the stereotypes and defeats all the hate.

My philosophy in life is simple, be kind to everyone, as everyone is fighting a battle you don't know about.
And do your fair share of good in the world, its your duty as a human.
