Overview
About Me
I was born in Iran and pursued my studies in Malaysia, a journey that enriched my perspective. Upon returning to my homeland, I immersed myself in filmmaking and documenting the vibrant cultures of Iran's diverse ethnic groups, traveling to nearly every corner of this beautiful country. This has gifted me with a deep understanding of Iran's geography and traditions. Currently, I split my time between the bustling city of Tehran and the serene landscapes of Gilan in northern Iran. I’m passionate about hosting guests, sharing stories, and discovering new cultures through meaningful connections. I’d be thrilled to welcome you into my world—and perhaps one day visit yours!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in the magic of connection—where strangers become friends through shared stories and experiences. Having explored the rich tapestry of Iran’s cultures and landscapes, and studied abroad in Malaysia, I’ve seen how travel and hospitality can bridge worlds. I’m here to open my home in Tehran and Gilan to curious souls, offering a window into Persian life while eagerly learning about yours. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay—it’s about building memories, exchanging traditions, and dreaming of future journeys to the places my guests call home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most incredible adventures I’ve had was sailing with the weathered, wise sailors of Qeshm Island aboard their ship on a journey known as the 'Houbadi Voyage.' The wind in my hair, the tales of the sea in their voices, and the vast Persian Gulf stretching endlessly before us—it was a moment where time stood still, blending history, nature, and human spirit into something truly unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d love to teach you about the art of storytelling through film, the rhythms of Persian music, or the hidden gems of Iran’s diverse cultures and landscapes. Whether it’s sharing tips on capturing life’s moments or introducing you to the warmth of Iranian hospitality, I’m excited to pass on what I’ve gathered from my journeys."
Learn: "I’m eager to learn about your world—your traditions, your favorite melodies, or the places that shaped you. Teach me a recipe from your home, a phrase in your language, or simply your perspective on life. Every encounter is a chance to grow."
Share: "I’m here to share meaningful conversations over a cup of tea, tales from my travels across Iran, and the beauty of connecting across cultures. Let’s swap stories, laugh over differences, and build a bridge between our worlds—one moment at a time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m passionate about capturing the essence of cultures, so I’d love to record the unique traditions, sounds, and stories of your world with your permission—it’s a privilege to preserve what makes each place special. Beyond that, I can share the soul of Iran with you—tales from my travels filming its diverse ethnic groups, insights into its breathtaking landscapes, and the haunting melodies of Persian music. We could cook an Iranian dish together, exchange adventure stories, or dive into my films for a glimpse of my journey. I bring an open heart, a curious spirit, and gratitude for the connections we’ll create.
