I found out about Couchsurfing through a friend who have used the site for her solo travels in Taiwan and she made great friends over the time. And what better ways than to travel with friends who share a common interest! She told me the philosophy of Couchsurf: "We have friends all over the world, we just haven't met them yet." I love the idea!

Plus, in order to understand the culture of a place, I believe that we should eat, sleep, and live like a true local during our travels.
