ABOUT ME

I have spent the past 18 years raising my daughter, who leaves for college at the end of August, 2009. I am ready to have an adventure & am hoping to make new friends that can show me about a new city/country. I am flying into London on August 24 and am making my way across Europe for 34 days total!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in the UK & Paris & both guys I stayed with were incredibly hospitable & I would stay with both of them again if given the chance. As a female who was concerned with safety, I researched both of my hosts thoroughly and felt very comfortable with the idea (although, I should add that my family DID NOT). :-)
I would def couchsurf again!

There is a place in my heart for almost all types of music & books of all sorts. I loved "The Glass Castle", "Kite Runner"...books that make me think/feel--songs that make me want to dance or sing, movies that make me cry or laugh.
