ABOUT ME

My friend once told me that if I find something that I like, I will dive right in and have a new hobby or job for several years. Someday I will know something about everything, how to shift your weight properly while skydiving, the way the pedals feel as you clip into your bicycle, or even just how to use an immersion circulator. I'm trying my best to educate myself about many things at the same time, and even though the Bay will always be my home, I've got the wanderlust.

Interests

I love watching cities roll by on the bus, a song always comes up in my head like I'm making a music video or something. I also like to play pool with people who aren't macho assholes, I've got a good game but if you have something to prove then I definitely don't like playing with you. I ride my bicycle everywhere, I love the feeling of moving in the pulse of traffic, like a little blood cell keeping everything alive and going, squeezing through alleys and 18-wheelers to get somewhere on time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to a Sigur Ros concert about 3 years ago in Berkeley at the Greek. They finished their set with Untitled 8 and as they started playing the song, a light mist started falling from the sky. They played and played, until the breakdown, and at that exact moment it started pouring. Everything crescendoed from there, the crowd went batshit it was such perfect timing to one of the best songs I know.
