About Me

I arrived in Italy a few years ago and what you can think about Dolce Vita is true. Especially if, like me, you have some free time coming. I quit my job -what? And I plan to enjoy my summer to do new stuff. Then we'll see what will happen when I get bored...if that happens!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered CS when I travelled to Genève with my sister for her 20th birthday. We stayed with two different hosts and that was great! I don't travel much alone but I think CS is a good way to meet nice people, feel safe and discover the place with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Series :
Scrubs, HIMYM, NCIS (everybody tells me to watch this and that, but I don't like to spend lots of time in front of my TV). My favorite mini-serie is Band Of Brothers (I almost know it by heart...).

Movies :
Thrillers and suspens (La Proie, Inception).
War movies (Black hawk down, Forces spéciales, Inglorious basterds, Stalingrad, etc.)
I like to watch "author movies" in orginial version, even if it's in a language I don't understand.
I like to watch ecological and historical documentaries.

Music :
Old singers and bands like Jacques Brel, The Beatles, Daniel Balavoine, Queen.
MC Solaar, Muse, Shakira, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Linkin Park, Olivia Ruiz, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I like listening to original sound tracks (those from Anastasia, The Road to Eldorado, Black Hawk Down, Slumdog Millionnaire are part of my favorites).

Books :
I love Harlan Coben. I read lots of thrillers (Lee Child, David Baldacci, Fred Vargas), documentaries about environmental-sustainable living subjects (Jean Ziegler, Fabrice Nicolino, Claude Marie Vadrot) and some historical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently : I quit my job. Twice, same company. Really hope there won't be a third - no way I'm going back there!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with a tour guide so I know quite a lot about the city and surroundings. I can spend some time with you depending on work/travels and show you around.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
