I am a trained classical dancer, specialising in, but not limited to, Bharatanatyam (south Indian classical dance). I am also an active member of Awami Worker's Party, a progressive leftist party in Pakistan. I love to travel, and manage to (mostly when I am invited to perform!) when I can afford it. I love nature, and encountering new cultures, and experiencing life with rooted, chilled out and artistic folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to travel all over the world, and meet & live with locals who are not wholly engrossed by neoliberal consumerism! Also, a friend was once hosting many people thru Couchsurfing, and I was bowled over by the spirit of it. (I must say, this 'verification' via credit card is a creepy development...)
