CURRENT MISSION

My mission at the moment is to further my education beyond classrooms by learning through experiences where I interact with others

ABOUT ME

I am currently intern in my pediatric neurology residency;

I enjoy traveling and meeting others. I love hearing people's stories and learning from their experiences because I know they can contribute so much to my own accumulation of knowledge

I am a very active person. I love sports. I will play anything from soccer, to volleyball, to tennis. I actively practice martial arts. I also really enjoy running. I hope that one day, with the current training I have started, to be able to run a marathon. I feel at home when I am in the wilderness. I love experiencing what nature offers us and I take advantage of nature by hiking when I am given the chance, which does not really happen in Houston.

I am also happy staying still and reading a book or watching a movie. I try to read as many books as possible during the summer when I finally take a break from my studies. I love films and I will sit down and watch a couple of films on a rainy day.

I also have a love for drawing. It is something that truly makes me happy. I need to devote more time to this hobby.

This year I have picked up playing classical guitar. At the moment I am not that great, but with practice I will be able to play music for myself and for others

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life expecting that one day I will be able to bring joy to others. We are on the earth for a very short amount of time and we could die any day. Everybody's time on earth should be filled with joy. Since I have the means and have been privileged for the majority of my life, I want to be able to give everyone equal opportunity to live an easy and fulfilling life.

I stayed in places and have hosted people! It was amazing meeting fellow couchsurfers. Hearing their stories has opened my eyes to how vast the world.

I love movies! Some of my favorites are pulp fiction, Amelie, Psycho, Requiem for a Dream, Cool Hand Luke, The Graduate, and many others. I also enjoy music, especially Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Vampire weekend, MGMT, Creedence Clearwater revival, Florence and the Machine, and also many others. I have recently been expanding my musical taste by listening to Hip-Hop. I love books and usually read as many as I can during the summer months, my absolute favorite at the moment is One flew over the cuckoo's nest, but that will change with time.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

spending six months in Italy during high school were the most memorable six months of my life. I hope to have other moments such as that in my life . I also spent my 2012 summer traveling in Europe for almost a month. I met so many interesting people with some many things to share. It makes on realize how he differences we see between one another are so trivial.
