Sobre Mim
Hi, my name is Amotz Ravid, I'm 33 years old. I was born and raised at the southern part of Israel in a small kibbutz (social village) called Gevaram. I am always look for new adventures and new persons meet. Mountains, Forest and nature are always fascinated me and I will be happy to join for a hike or a travel.
After I graduated from high school, I served the Israeli Military for 5.5 years. During the Military service, I graduated a Batchelor degree in I.T. and Right after I worked in a small restaurant in Tel Aviv as a cook for 6 months.
In Summer 2015, I Sold my car, gave up on my awesome flat, gave my friends all over almost all of my belongings and bought a one-way flight ticket. I started in NYC, for 4 months I traveled around Washington D.C. , than I left to Canada for "Workaway" with a very nice family in the Yukon. I traveled and hitchhiked across the Yukon and on Mars 2016, hitchhiked the whole way to Innuvik in the Arctic area of Canada. in April I made it by hitchhike all the way to Fairbanks, Alaska and stay in Alaska for a bout 8 months. This was an AMAZING adventures full of nature, animals and many interesting people. I spend also long time in Colorado and Boston. Crossed with a car the USA from East to West, Travel in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and many more.
In April 2017 I came to Germany for the first time. I traveled for two weeks between the big cities and finally made it to Leer in the north-west corner of Germany. Here I planned to meet a good friend who traveled with me in Canada and we both wanted to prepare our bags for a long adventure of the "Camino de Santiago".
On the middle of April 2017, we traveled with train all the way to south France and Start the famous trail in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. We went about 1000 km in one month. An amazing adventure with so many people from all over the globes.
After the Camino I came back to Germany and found a job in a nice small company in Leer. I was leaving in a dairy Farm not to far from Leer and lern german. After one and a half year in Leer, I moved to Salzburg, Austria and was leaving there while looking for a job in Austria.
January 2019 I moved back to Canada and started a school in Whitehorse, Yukon. I lived and worked in Whitehorse for 9 months, and than drove across Canada to the east coast where I worked in Fredericton, NB for a couple months.

New People and adventures are always part of me. I am like to spend the time with people, listen to good adventures stories and share my experience. I think to meet the locals in every place this is the real experience of a new place. I am like to hear the goods and the best of a new place, and not just to be as "tourist".

My interests include Hiking, Nature travels, Music, Cooking, Photography, Running and aviation

Listen for music is one of my best love. I am very open minded for a various kind of music but my most favorited are American Country, Blues, African and Israeli.
