25/7-16/8 Roadtripping from Chicago-San Fransisco with my boyfriend and my two best friends! Would love to surf some couches and meet some cool peeps!

My name is Amanda, I am a 24 year old easy-going, happy girl from Sweden who's spent the last 1.5 year living in Melbourne. I love travelling and spent a year travelling around India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia etc. I have also travelled big parts of Australia and except living in Melbourne I also lived in Tasmania on a horse farm for 2.5 months. Meeting new people is one of the most important things in my life. Being an openminded human when meeting new people is probably the single thing that has evolved myself and my life the most.

In Melbourne I used to work as a DJ and a bartender/booker/promoter. Before that I studied law for a year before I took a break to go travelling! I also write articles and have studied creative writing. I try everything that seems fun and I'm not sure I'll stop anytime soon!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I move in to my flat in Sweden in December I will start hosting people. Right now looking to surf some couches with some lovely people in Melbourne and Sydney!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted twice in my apartment in Uppsala, once in August 2015 and once in September 2015. Both of my guests were from Australia and absolutely lovely, we had some great times together at the studentpubs, hanging out with my friends etc. I showed them around both Uppsala and Stockholm and really enjoyed the time we spent!

All my trips are amazing if you ask me! I lived in a forest community in India for a month, that was pretty mindblowing. Trekking the Himalayas, safari in South Africa, Central Park in New York, The Louvre in Paris, New Years eve in Berlin, diving in Thailand - I loved every single one of them!
