Overview
About Me
I am a well traveled global citizen who loves people, culture and landscapes. My work involves sales, marketing, business start-ups, e-commerce etc and I love working from my home. I have three amazing sons who are musicians, entrepreneurs and visionaries. Personality wise I'm laid back, responsible, creative, curious and love a good laugh.
Have traveled widely in SE Asia, India, Australia, parts of North and South America and other countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My life path took a curve after my divorce 12 years ago. I realized that with all the first class travelling I'd done...I'd never made friends in the countries I'd visited. We went from one hotel or resort to another...and after awhile they all look and feel the same. I want to meet 'real' people and live as they do...eat in their favorite restaurants and go 'off the beaten track".
Interests
Travelling :) Art, causes, devotional music, cooking, alternative healing, reading, music festivals, meeting new people and starting new conscious projects.

Teach, Learn, Share
Right now I'm researching for a book/documentary I want to create.
"There are many myths, old wives tales and indigenous traditions surrounding pregnancy, childbirth and ante natal care that the West has never heard of like "don't wash your hair for 40 days after giving birth" "If a pregnant woman eats a clove of garlic and the smell does not come out of her pores, it’s a girl. If the smell seeps out of her pores, it’s a boy."
My book will document these tales from around the world, speaking to grandmothers from indigenous cultures and then look into the science behind these claims to de-mystify ancient wisdom. I hope to learn more on my travels and then share the results.
