Hi! I’m Vlada. I was born in Moldova, raised in Italy, and shaped by many places in between. I feel like a bridge between worlds: cultures, languages, and emotions. I’m passionate about psychology, art, meaningful conversation, and all things human and poetic.

I haven’t used Couchsurfing much for travel yet, but I’ve met many surfers in my life and those encounters have often left a real mark. I’m here to exchange stories, ideas, and perspectives with people who value depth, beauty, and growth.

Because some of the best people I’ve met were complete strangers at first.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I mostly listen to jazz and rap. I used to be into rock but I’m over it. I went through a strong techno phase in Berlin. Now I just like whatever sounds real and good.

In films I go for the moody ones. Cult stuff with a soul. Think Only Lovers Left Alive, Dead Man, Zabriskie Point, Blade Runner.

When I was little I read all the time. These days it’s mostly audiobooks. Psychology and existential themes are my go-to.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve taught languages for years but what I love most is sharing ideas that wake people up.
I’m into art, photography, psychology, and everything that hides beneath the surface.
I love exploring identity, emotion, and how we turn chaos into meaning.
I don’t always talk much, but when I do, I try to say something that counts.
I learn best from people who question things and live with intention.
