ABOUT ME

I love learning about history and religion. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and am enthusiastic about sustainability and novel ideas.

I am a first generation Australian with parents from Scotland and England. I met my partner whilst travelling in Chile, who is from Wisconsin, USA and we now have 2 adorable children together (6 and 3).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We live in a home in North Lake, not too far from Fremantle and Perth City by bus and train. We have a bed in my office that is available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a Panamanian Dance Instructor in a small town called Kingston in Guatemala who offered to drive my partner and I around Guatemala in his hired car. We took up the offer as we had pretty much no money. Half way into a long trip he started becoming very anxious and decided he needed to fly back to Panama immediately! We took him back to his Dance studio and he said we could stay there for the remainder of the month while he was away. After staying there for a week we found out that the guy owed a bunch of people money and hadn't actually paid the rent! We also found that much of the studio was dusted in a suspiciously fine white powder which once scraped all together could have had a party all on its own. No wonder he was so paranoid!
