Overview
About Me
A teacher and design student, I make every effort to learn about the world through direct engagement with people. I love hearing the narratives of others; sitting with a cup of coffee while drawing, listening, or reading; and venturing through neighborhoods that are new to me on early morning runs.
I spent the last year living in Jackson, Wyoming and teaching preschool while enjoying life in the mountain west and developing a small social justice group, for which I led meetings throughout the year. Prior to this, I spent a year living in India, where I divided my time teaching yoga and working as a volunteer for the communications division of International Justice Mission's Delhi field office.
With the school year now at an end, I am embarking on a new adventure that will begin in Peru and end in Cape Town, South Africa, where I am partaking in a Graphic Design program at a digital arts academy in the Woodstock area.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Visiting new places, interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and endeavoring to shy away from my Shire of the Pacific Northwest and chase dragons, so to speak, are the primary reasons for my joining the CS community.
