Hello! I am Amy, I'm a 22 year old birth doula living and working in Manchester. I've lived here all my life so far but am hoping to change that soon! I am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend Orrin who is living in Vietnam at the moment. I am hoping to go travelling with him soon, I just need to save up a bit of money first!!

I am on couchsurfing mainly for a bit of something different! I love meeting new people and hearing all about people's travels, and I also think it's a brilliant idea and will hopefully use couchsurfing on my travels, so I figured it should be a give and take thing.

I am unashamed to say that I mostly listen to cheesy 90's music, film soundtracks and musicals.
I love horror films, rom coms, sad films - pretty much all kinds of film although not so much action but could be persuaded!
I read a lot of fiction, a bit of everything. I'm currently reading (for the fourth time) Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. It's such a good collection!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, it probably won't sound amazing to other travellers but I have been to Peru which I absolutely loved! Helped to build an irrigation system in a small village which was hard work but so rewarding. I have also been to Vietnam twice and love it!! Haven't plucked up the courage to drive a motorbike yet but I enjoyed being on the back of one (once I got used to their driving), and I drove a jetski - that was soooo much fun.

I'm not really sure what I can share, except a good cup of tea (or coffee!) and a chat! I can tell you all about doula-ing if you're interested, but I'd more likely want to hear all about you. However, if you're not a chatter, that is fine. I can offer you a quiet haven with plenty of books to choose from.
