About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the Universe. Learn traditional folk music from around the world.
ABOUT ME
I am easily pleased and excitable. Super excited to be traveling, really looking forward to meeting some cool people and seeing some beautiful places. I don't drink or smoke, but I don't really mind if other people do.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life according to the Serenity prayer, accepting the things I cannot change, changing the things I can, and knowing the difference between those things.
I believe the people are fundamentally good. I believe that our world is a beautiful place that deserves respect and care. I believe that art and creativity are the most beloved aspects of humanity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Thus far I have not hosted or surfed, but with any luck that will soon change!
Interests
My main interest is music. I studied the nyckelharpa (traditional Swedish folk instrument) for one year in a small town in Sweden. I grew up playing the fiddle in my family's bluegrass band, and playing classical violin in my town's youth orchestra. Music is what drives me.
I love stories, too. I think of television and movies and books and videogames as different forms of storytelling, and there is little I enjoy more than immersing myself in a good television show or book.
