I am a 19 year old who is bored of being stuck in my home country and is now looking to explore the world. I am a down to earth, easy to talk to and generally happy person who doesn't take life too seriously. I like being able to have a laugh with people and enjoy the company of people with a good sense of humour and sarcasm.

I am about to embark on a year long trip to Thailand and Australia with my boyfriend Alex, to scuba dive, bungee jump, sky dive, rock climb, snorkel, ride elephants, discover new food, meet new friends and see everything these amazing countries have to offer! I hope this will be the first of many travelling adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the first time we are going to have experienced back packing and it's a rather daunting thing! That's why I'm looking for some down to earth, fun and welcoming people to stay with, who will make us feel a whole lot more relaxed about the experience and hopefully show us all the amazing things to do and see where they live so we don't miss anything! I would love to hear others travel stories and get inspiration on where to go next, and I feel we would learn a lot more about the culture and places we visit if we are to stay with locals. I also like the idea of being able to return the favor and have people come stay with me in the future.

Interests

I love the sport of Baton Twirling, I have been doing it for many years and have had some amazing opportunities to travel Europe and represent my country in international competitions. Alex is a great football fan, he plays it, he watches it, he bets on it and he doesn't stop talking about it! I'm sure he would love to share his passion for the sport with others whilst we travel.

We both enjoy watching movies, eating out, having a drink and hanging out with friends.
