💚 One thing I'm interested in talking about with the CS community is: sharing tips on carbon offsetting travels, and reducing our footprint whilst we travel. My goal is to plant trees to carbon offset the last few years of my planes at the least (yes, I'm going to be planting for a while!), and I'd love to continue learning about how to reduce my footprint in other ways. We are in this beautiful community of giving and receiving, so I thought there may be some great conservation minds on here 🙏

I've lived in Melbourne, on Wurundjeri country (Australia) all my life. I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. I'm a vegetarian and conservationist :)

About my home;

Please note two things: You'll be sharing a house with my room mate (my mumma) and my dog.
And that: We don't live in the CBD - but live close to the train station (15 minute walk) but it will take where you can get to the cbd within 40 minutes.
We are also by the beautiful beach along the Bayside peninsula.

I do work a lot so I may not have time to show you around but I can tell you things to do in Melbourne and help out as much as I can when you are here! I won't recommend you to go to the zoo but I can show you spots to see kangaroos in the wild 😊 And mum always loves to chat to people that come to our place, so please do be aware that she'll want to chat and get to know you. You'll be living in a family home where you're welcome to come and go after adventures, but we do love sharing a meal or wine or tea together with some chats.

I've been in the situation where I need to stay somewhere for a night or two and need somewhere safe and homely. I'd love to find hosts on here where I can do that in different countries I am travelling to, meet likeminded people, and do the same for people who need somewhere to crash when they are in Melbourne :)

I love chatting, connecting and learning from different souls, and getting to know the local area that I am in. I love to cook, listen to music, and be in nature. I love to learn from the people I meet, and go with the flow wherever I am travelling. I believe seeing a place with locals is the best way to immerse into a city.
