About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, laugh. Save the world, if convenient.

ABOUT ME

Grew up in the Portland area, and feel very fortunate to call this place home. Attended University in Scotland, where I met wonderful people who I miss dearly. Now working while trying to sort out my life. I love to learn, both from books and from people. I'm very easy going, although a bit of a scatter brain. Tolerant of everything but hate.

PHILOSOPHY

Power of the mind, a positive attitude goes a long way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate has been hosting surfers for a while now, so thought I would check it out for myself. I have very much enjoyed the couch surfers who have stayed at my house thus far.

Interests

Dancing (especially West Coast swing and salsa), motorcycles, camping, bicycles, cooking/baking, and, of course, travelling and meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming round a bend in Glencoe, Scotland, and being hit by the view. I didn't understand the meaning of breathtaking until then.

The Splav (floating nightclubs) in Belgrade, the Serbs know how to party!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach the basics of swing, salsa or waltz. I feel I am quite good at baking, both conventional and vegan, and could share that. I once taught a roommate how to drive a stick shift. I can share some verbal assertiveness techniques. I could also teach you how to draw a dinosaur.

I have so many interests that I would be willing to learn almost anything someone could teach me.
