ABOUT ME

I am a friendly, cheerful person,pretty laid back but ambitious. I love travelling to new places and experiencing other cultures. I will push myself to try new things. I am still trying to figure out some kind of plan for myself but I am enjoying the ride at the moment. I am very accepting of people and respect those with different opinions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a surfer just now because I am currently no fixed abode. I was an unofficial couch hoster in Glasgow when I lived me my brother and I believe it is a great way to meet good people and store up some good karma!:)

New surfer. Have stayed with friends before when travelling through- only rule is to be respectful and thankful for the couch!

Interests

I enjoy art, other peoples and I used to draw but have got out of the way of it recently.I am an Architect, interested in building and urban planning. I have been lucky enough to be travelling for the last 3.5mths on my way to Oz and that has been fantastic. I have been learning yoga and tried surfing but i am not a natural! Recently I have the feeling I should try climbing. I like running I completed my first half marathon before leaving Scotland and want to do more. I like going to gigs, music events, festivals - i have an eclectic taste from indie to reggae to electronica - my ipod is very random on shuffle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in the jungle in Sumatra and seeing Orangutans! - they are so human!
Visiting Siberot, one of the Mentawai Islands and staying with the ancient jungle tribes.
Very corny but every beautiful sunrise and sunset.
