Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nada... I'm a newbie. My friends seem to enjoy the experience so I'm up for trying it too!

Interests

Nature, people with open minds, people who challenge my ideas, learning, smiling, unconventional ideas, dancing, leaving people notes, sending thank-you cards, playing soccer, painting my nails, encouraging people, goofing around with my family, First Fridays, hippie vans, the idea that if I were alive in 1969 I would have had an incredible time at Woodstock, meeting people who are more creative than I am, neighborhood kickball, climbing rocks, going down the tornado slide especially at the water park, writing down my thoughts, boating, meditating, skiing on water and snow, drinking tea and coffee, playing soccer, butt scooters, parachute day in gym class, radiating good energy and soaking up other good vibes, camping, not cooking unless it's with friends and/or music, taking peaceful drives, swinging, playing soccer, sitting with my friends, adventuring with my friends, reading poetry, making lists...

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are my thing, I've read a lot of them. I'm a reading teacher so it's in my job description!
Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albolm
*Shantaram I'd recommend! Gives you the opportunity to reap the benefits from the experience of travel and meeting new people.
