I used to travel a lot when I was younger and then after my daughter's birth 17 years ago I settled down for a while but now I am getting active again and want to see new parts of the world again.

I prefer to travel around in Europe but am planning to expand my travellers horizon further in a few years.
I love to talk about a whole broad range of topics starting with travelling and adventures but also about spiritual retreats or stuff like firewalking, and have a lot of experiences in such areas. Also I have read quite some (real) books and like to discuss them or movies or cities or life in general.

I (think I) am quite easygoing and happy with simple things and generally find joy in small things like a sunrise or a nice chat with someone or a cup of nice tea in the winter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel with my cat, whom I love dearly, she is small, only 3 kg, very well behaving and she likes to go for walks on a leash. Whether she loves to travel or loves to stay at home I can't tell, because apart from the trip itself, she finds joy in all kinds of environments as long as she can stay with me. I am looking for hosts who would host me & my female, sterlized cat, for a few days or longer, because accomodations with pets are usually double the price of those without pets.

I have hosted (previously from my old account which I unfortunately have lost access to) a lot of people from all over the world and would be happy to do it again, and I also like to travel easily and meet locals and find out about things to do in my destination places.

I would be happy to stay with someone who also likes cats and who would host us both.
