Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To try something new! I usually stay with Airbnb hosts, and I've loved the places where my hosts are interactive and excited to share their city/home. I'd like to meet more locals and see how they live.

Interests

I'm a self-proclaimed foodie, and love trying dishes from new places and cultures.
I also enjoy nature walks/hiking, and especially identifying the birds and plants in an area.
When I can't travel (and even when I can), I love reading for the escape and to challenge/grow my perceptions of the world.

Hiking Mt. Katahdin with friends in university. This was the first long hike I'd done, and it was both exhilarating and memorable with lots of laughs.
