I love travelling and exploring new places. I am a perpetual "nomad" and have lived and worked in many different countries around the world, including Ukraine, Georgia, Turkmenistan, and Turkey. After taking a couple of years off to travel around the world, I moved to Macedonia in 2014. I live in Skopje and I'm having fun meeting new people here and discovering new places. A fun weekend for me usually involves doing something active - either running or hiking - with friends. I also enjoy quiet evenings at home or intimate dinners with friends.

I was introduced to Couchsurfing when I was travelling in New Zealand. It was a great first experience and I had an excellent host. I'm still a Couchsurfing "newbie" and would love to start surfing and hosting more often. I love the concept of Couchsurfing - and how it provides a safe platform for travelers to open up their homes to other travelers, connects people with like interests, and provides a way for travelers to go beyond the typical hostel experience and get an insider's view of life in cities around the world.

Unfortunately, I'm not able host couchsurfers at my current home in Macedonia, but am happy to meet visitors for coffee and/or show them around town.

I feel very lucky that I have been able to do a lot of amazing things in my life. I've walked across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, hiked the Annapurna circuit in Nepal, and hiked 1,000 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail in California.
