ABOUT ME

I am fun-loving, outgoing, bubbly, trust worthy and caring.I love meeting new people from all walks of life. Learning is a constant in my life whether it be school, life, culture, history or science. Recently,I graduated from Graduate school with a degree in Marine Biology researching swordfish in Florida. I consider myself an environmentalist and a scientist. My main concern traveling throughout Australia is to see as much of the wildlife as possible. On that note, I love to scuba dive! Pretty much anything to do with nature and I am in!!! My other hobbies include making jewelry, reading, photography, running, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, and playing with my dogs. I have two dogs: an Australian shephard,Toby,and black lab named Jackie that I rescued. I miss them deeply,but they are with my parents who spoil them rotten. I also used to be a high school teacher in math,physics,chemistry, english.I taught special needs students and it was one of the most rewarding and difficult jobs that I have ever had.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest because life is too short. You only have one life to live so be the best person that you can be and live for yourself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to the coach surfing world. This is such an incredible community to have and I am glad that I am becoming a part of it. So far in my travels I feel like I have not met that many Australians other than at work.I would really like to experience how true Australians live and learn as much about them as I possibly can. Yet, I am not opposed to non-aussies.
