About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be happy!

ABOUT ME

Hello you all! My name is Aminata, but you can call me Amy. I'm a third year undergrad student doing my ERASMUS year in the UK ( Exeter), now it's over, and I'm a bit sad, but it feels good to be back to lovely Paris! I'm 23, and originally from Senegal, a country on the west coast of Africa. I was born and raised in Paris...

PHILOSOPHY

"A day without laughter is a day wasted."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done any kind of couchsurfind, so that would be the first time. However since I'm currently living in a uni residence I won't be able to host anyone, but once I go back to Paris (this summer) I'll be more than welcome to host travellers that want to discover this beautiful city!

Interests

I'm interested in many things, mostly travelling (Italy, Germany, England, Spain, Africa, USA,and so on...), reading (being a literature student), languages (currently learning japanese and korean, can speak english, a bit of spanish, and well, french). I'm a huge TV show fan, maybe a bit too much, but hmm can't help it! I'm not a big fan of sports but I play badminton with my university club. Oh and I love to dance! Which leads me to music, I love all kind of music, ok maybe except metal, but yeah I can listen to pretty much anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to by cited.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to New York by my own, which I thought I would never been able to. Oh and there I tasted for the first time peanut butter and jam (which no one would ever do in France). Talk about amazing experience! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently I learned (thanks to my Chinese flatmates) that in China, girls in primary school are not allowed to have their hair dyed and boys are not allowed to have their hair longer than their eyebrows and neck. Also, I thought that all this thing about having only one child was over, apparently it's still very on.

Countries I’ve Visited

Italy, Senegal, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
