Music, Movies, and Books

Lovely mellow guitary music, music with beautiful harmonies and voices to sing along with, music that's great for dancing to, music from other cultures and in other languages.

Movies which teach! Movies reflecting on historical events, exploring new possibilities, giving you a glimpse of the life of another.

Thoughtful books, I love to experience another culture or country or life through the words of another person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Massaged the shoulders of a Quechuan cleaning lady as we spoke in Spanish and she taught me a little Quechua.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, learn, share! Yes do! Always always learn from and with others, never decide that you know everything. Always be willing to teach what you know and allow others to learn through your experiences, therefore always share who you are and what you have to give.

It's often hard to open yourself up and be vulnerable whilst travelling, because this no doubt will invoke pain when it's time to move on! But what amazing things can come from vulnerability, learning and sharing wih others. Is it worth leaving a piece of your heart wherever you go? I believe so!
