ABOUT ME

Well I'd hope that my friends would say nice things about me, but I'm really bad at answering these sorts of questions, so I'm going to just go for authenticity and actually let my friend write this bit...

"I would consider Amy to be one of the nicest and kindest people I have met. She's also always ready for conversation and brings to any room her sense of humour. Is this a bit too much? She'd probably say so but I would add that she's also very modest."

Yeah that probably is a bit much, but we might as well go with it, and I'll just try really hard to live up to his description! :)

兴趣

Well at the moment I've shipped myself off to England on a gap year, where I'm volunteering full-time at a local school for visually impaired kids. In addition to the work, which I love, one of the upsides of working in a school is that I get holidays off which means me and one of the volunteers at this school plan to spend our summer travelling round europe and seeing and absorbing as much of the culture as we can, before I head back home to New Zealand.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well to be honest the majority of my legitimately awestruck moments seem to revolve around travelling and discovering new places. Like in February I went to Malta where I spent the time being the random foreigner who kept tripping over all the cobblestones because I was always looking up at these incredibly amazing buildings that seemed to be hidden around every corner... Or when we were driving along in this old bus in pretty average weather, turned a corner, and suddenly all we could see was this giant expanse of blue ocean, blue sky and almost no signs of civilisation round except for these megalithic temples just beside us- yeah that was a pretty amazing moment :)
