About Me

CURRENT MISSION

where to next?

ABOUT ME

I live in Humboldt County, California. I love the beach and the forest. I am a Vegan. I don't eat any animal products and I try to avoid consuming them at all. I am somewhat political with a left leaning. I am interested in social and environmental justice, but I can avoid politics if you prefer. I love to cook. I love nature and learning about plants, animals, geology, etc. every where.
I like drinking beer and wine.
Tengo ganas a conoser más gente y hablar en español.

PHILOSOPHY

I am looking to be me. I am open minded, but I think the world needs to go in a different direction than the one it's going in. I do believe that Global Climate Change is real, and that real change needs to happen for humanity to survive in a pleasant way. I want social and environmental justice.
I advocate workers rights and power, the owning class is nothing with out the worker's labor.
I am VEGAN and I want freedom and equality for all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I need places to stay where I go. I want to meet new people. I would like to just hang out and tell stories. Maybe we can hang out in my home town. I'm kind of shy at first, but warm up nicely.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently been a surfer in Germany, Spain, and Morocco. It has been a great experience.
when I had a house, my roommates and I always had someone staying with us. It seems that there was always a friend or a friend's friend who was down and out for a few weeks at a time. Also, I am involved in an art and music scene, so touring bands/speakers/artists would stay a night or two on their way through town. I have stayed on many friends' and familys' couches around the United States. My favorite part is breakfast and coffee in the morning.
I have been involved in food nod bombs for years, so i meet many travelers that way too.

Interests

I am interested in learning Spanish and working odd jobs. I have many skills. I love to spend time outdoors, on farms and in nature. I love spending time with friends and making new ones. I LOVE RIDING BIKES and LIVE MUSIC.
I love cooking and eating vegan food. I am interested in reducing waste, so i like to make my things last and rummage through rubbish bins to find treasures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love punk rock and hip hop. I love John Steinbeck. I read a lot of political literature: zines, books, newspaper, online media. Living my Life by Emma Goldman. I love funny movies, Jay and Silent Bob, Will Farrel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived among the giant redwood trees in Humboldt Co., Cali.
I rode my bike from Eureka to Mendocino, California. Then from Oakland to Eureka, California.
I think any able-bodied anyone who wants to go on a bike tour should go, you can do it anywhere. It is amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Food Not Bombs is all over the world. Free vegan food for hungry people. The people get the food from wasteful capitalists and make it nice for all to enjoy.
I love to garden and cook. I can show people how too.
I want to learn Spanish and the guitar.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Germany, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
