About Me

I am a 24 years old girl, I finished my studies two years ago here in Madrid, and ever since then, all I wanted is to travel around the world, share experiences, know different cultures, taste new things, not having planned anything, living everything like it was the first time I tried. I love meeting people, no matter their interests and their language, we'll manage to find somthing we have in common and express it the way we can. i think every little thing in life make you learn from it, so i try to look always at the bright side of the things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As i explained in the "about me", I like not only seeing and visiting the country itself, but meeting new people and being able to see the parts of the city where I wouldnt find myself as a tourist, finding the places where people from the country im visiting go, thats why i like meeting people everywhere I go, all of them can teach you something new!

Interests

I like nature a lot, walking in the mountains and getting lost there, listening to the birds or even spleeping there. I like climbing (im a beginer, ive just been a year doing it!). Here in Madrid i live next to the mountains, so that was easy!

I like music, a lot. I listen music all the time, in the car, at home or in the street. I like street music a lot. I used to play the violin some years ago, but I tried to practice some times not to forget it. I tried many instruments because I love when people teach me how to play whatever they play. I love dancing with music until the sun is rising, looking at the sun after a good night dancing without stop.

I like cooking a lot, trying different things in the kitchen, mixing different ingridients and seeing what happens! Mostly I eat healthy food, im a vegan so I like taking care of my diet at the same time I take care of animals!I like a lot even growing my own food, because I like gardering (but i ont know a lot!) And of course, I love sharing food with people, cooking for people and seeing whether they like it or not, it doesnt matter beacuse probably I had fun cooking it!

And....my interests could keep going and going....painting my own t-shirts, photography, astrology, meditation, reading....But let save somethign for the time I meet you!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music? hard to say, i guess i like a lot of different kinds of music, since punk and rock music (mostly of theses spanish groups and some from South and North America or UK), some eletronic music like drum and bass, and I love balkan, ska, swing! But... I love to listen different music from different countries, so if you like something different Id be delighted to listen to it and probably ill ask you to let me copy it to my computer if I can...Because as I said before, im always listening to music and new is always good!

I like reading too, science fiction books (mostly cyberpunk) like Philip K Dick, Asimov.... and social stuff, realted to the second world war, social problems, education....I like a lot essays where people just throw ideas about changing, improving or things like that.

Movies? More of the same! Into the wild, Blade runner, the pianist, Life is beautiful, Amelie, Martin H, American history X, Y tambien la lluvia, they are some of the tittles that come now to my mind, but I like films quite a lot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I wouldnt really know what to say here....I guess it could be the expirence I had when I was 14 and I went to live in a american family for a year, studying there and growing a lot as a person! that gave me the enough courage to move out of my family home when i was 18, living independly ever since then...and loving the fact of doing everything and learning from this new situation!
