Hi I am Ana Mi, I am from Guadalajara, Mexico and been living in Phoenix, Arizona for the last 6 years. I am currently a junior in college and studying digital arts. I love food (but who doesn't) and art. I go to Mexico at least once a year to visit my family and friends and I would love to show my city to anyone that asks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Couchsurfing to meet people and go new places. I had the amazing opportunity to move to America and i loved learning about their culture and I am exited to learn about more about other countries.

Interests

I love art, there is nothing more interesting then a day in an art exhibition. I also develop a love for reading. For years I use to hate it, but there is nothing better than a good book after all. I am also interested in adventure, hiking weird places and even walking down town is one of favorite things to do.
I love volunteering and taking pictures. I have done more then 5 volunteer jobs for different associations here in Arizona and also translated for others. One of my biggest interest is to help other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a variety of music, from Rock to Country and lately I really enjoy French music and old American music from movies like Funny Face. I am going to study film in a hopeful near future, I love watching movies and one of my favorites is 500 days of Summer. I also love classics and chick flicks since I am a girl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the things i have done was just this past summer 2014. I went to Mexico and one of my amazing childhood friends and she invited me to go play with kids with cancer in a small association. It was just a few hours. You went in the hospital, play and leave but seeing how happy they were for that time made it the best time i have spend in my life.
