Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I think it’s a great opportunity for me to know more people, to get to know the culture and to make some friends. It’s a good way to make my personal project (a diary with stories from people that i met, that impressed me and from which I had something to learn, that later will me given to my future nephews and nieces).
I believe that just by visiting a country you can’t learn truly about their culture and that is the biggest motive that i can give you, because I’m a cultural knowledge junky.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I’m very open minded. I listen music from any country and culture.
I can’t say that I have a permanent favorite song or artist, it changes in time.
At the moment my favorite song is from The cat empire - The lost song (live version)
And the favorite singer now is Akua Naru.

Movies: I like to watch all types of movies, i have a special attraction to Horror and Psychologic movies.

I grew up with lots of books, at the moment my favorite author is Kafka. I don’t have a favorite book because I see every book as an opportunity to learn something new, no matter what is the theme of the book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing that I still do to this day, I volunteer in organizing a theatre festival in my home town. A town where there is nothing to do and the culture and art is dying every year more and more.
This festival is my contribution to the community, because it’s not just an opportunity for the people to see some theater shows. We also have lots of work shops for the participants and the citizens.

Teach, Learn, Share

It’s very important to me to learn something new and. I hate to stagnate in knowledge. Because I have an incredible thirst of unconventional learning through experiencing and seeing people’s view over life, no matter of their background.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge of personal development and my opinion about any subject, some of my Romanian culture, like history, nowadays facts, food (that means I can prepare you some delicious food), music and art.
Depending on how long I will need to be hosted, I will do my best to help you around the house. Some cleaning, cooking.
