My name is Ana Silva. I am a Portuguese 22 year old women, proud to live in Porto, “The Invicta”, known for its heroism and fearlessness.
I have developed affection and interest for the aquatic environment and its wild life for as long as I can remember, and traced my journey towards its exploration and protection. In order to fulfil that aspiration, I took a Bachelor degree in Aquatic Sciences and now I am taking a Master degree in Environmental Management, aiming to join and combine all my scientific basis on the aquatic field with these added skills and know-how, so that I can endorse, encourage and spread sustainable strategies.
I also love to travel, and decided to take a chance at experiencing ERASMUS Mobility, where my engagement to a new country enabled me to develop and expand my character to a stronger, adventurous and more confident personality, as I embraced every culture I was presented and pushed myself to get out of my comfort zone.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

During Erasmus, a friend introduced me to this movement of couchsurfing. I confess that I was quite skeptical at the beggining, but I took a chance on it and I got super surprised!
The Host I met in La Palma island showed me this emerging community that enjoys to share what they love with whoever loves it to - which is traveling and experiencing new aventures in different places, with different people!
