Hi everyone!

I am actually born in the Black Forest in the south of Germany but I have been living in Cologne for 18 years now and feel that it's save to say I am a "Kölnerin" :). I am living in a cozy maisonette studio in the heart of Cologne's "Südstadt", a very old part of Cologne's city centre with a vibrant and diverse community and a unique charm. Nonetheless, since the apartment is on the fourth and fifth floor (without an elevator), it is very quiet - and it offers an amazing view over Cologne, especially from the roof-top terrace :)

Even though I really enjoy living alone at the moment, I also very much enjoy travelling as well as meeting people from different cultures, most of all because it really makes me feel alive.

I have been signed up for couchsurfing since 2013 but I never actually used my account, which I definitely want to change now! :)

I will be on a sabbatical from August 2019 until about July 2020 which means I will be travelling myself and can't host you then. Until then (and after that) I am looking forward to share experiences and stories from around the world and to host you a few nights a month.
