Hello everyone, my name is Ana. I am from Bolivia. I’m super excited to start this adventure in Couchsurfing. I’ve opened this account like for such a long time, but this year is my first year actually meeting people and it’s just an amazing adventure. I had this CS account for a long time because a friend that went to Italy had such a great experience using it so this is the first year that I’m finally trying and I hope it works well. There is nothing more valuable than meeting people that is from around the world and just sharing my culture and getting to know them is just great I think that’s the main reason why I’m doing CS.

I crossed the border from Bolivia to Argentina illegally and it was the most extreme experience. The great thing about it is that I met a police guy from Argentina and now we are good friends. He actually helped me to go through the border.

I can teach you some recipes. I actually don’t like cooking to tell you the truth I like eating new stuff, new food. I’m expert doing that I like sweets. I like salty food, spicy food, but I’m a good listener and I’m also very talkative. I enjoy talking about different things. I enjoy talking about life, philosophy, religions, I just like to see the sunset and the sun and rainbows and trees. I also enjoy seeing the color of the flowers. I think those are the things that I enjoy the most I can learn about your culture, art and customs, and I can share the beautiful things that we have around La Paz city.

I will definitely share everything that I know about my culture my city. Having a walk uptown is just a crazy adventure kind of wild but also you can go around the city taking the cable cars. Just walk to go to the different neighborhoods. That’s such a great experience and we have great little bars with traditional music some of them, some of them with rock, some peculiar characteristics that you will truly enjoy it.
