ABOUT ME

I wish I could describe myself. I think it's the hardest thing to do but I'll give it a shot anyway. I am a friendly person. I am open minded and I also think I'm a little delusional sometimes. I am in my 2nd year of college and I live at home (with my family - my parents, my brother and my dogs). I would've probably been more "wild and free" but right now I am "tamed and trapped" in many ways because of the limitations of my country and safety issues. My parents are quite cool. They allow me to do most things but you know how it is, living at home. I love life, I am a very positive person. I love loud people and I love singing (I'm a singer) and I basically connect everything that happens in my life to songs and movies. I also love to read books. I talk a lot. I am quite simple, I think. I also complain a lot about traffic. That's the only thing that makes me VERY ANGRY. Apart from that, i'm a cool, fun-lovin' kinda gal. You'll just have to meet me to figure me out. This describe-yourself-thing doesn't help much.

Because I love to meet new people. It will be interesting to interact and share stories with people from all around the world, and learn how their lifestyles are similar to/ different than mine.

Too many to list but not much of a new-age bollywood fan. ( I love old Bollywood movies though.)
Hollywood is amazing.
SpellBound (1945) is one of my all-time favourites.
Pablo Neruda is amazing.
I'm a English literature student. Greek mythology fascinates me.
Khaled Hoesenni, Jodi Picoult, Sophie Kinsella, Jean Sasson ... I read all kinds. Depends on what I like and what interests me. Don't exactly have a specific genre or kind but I like to read fiction, mostly.
I'm a singer so specifying my music interests is hard. I am a HUGE John Mayer and Adele fan though. Christina Aguilera is also quite the boss.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I think there is so many one can learn from another one's culture and life. The veracity of life intrigues me. People with different color, race, thoughts, languages fascinate me. There is a whole lot I feel like I can learn, that I want to learn. From music to languages to etiquette- everything. There is too much going on in the world to grasp, but what's the harm in trying?

My world consists of the little unit that I live in at home. That unit extends to my college to my community and my people. There is a lot that I feel like I can share with people who come to stay with me.
