About Me

Hi! I'm Anaïs 😊 I'm 28, I'm from Galicia but I moved to Madrid in 2015 to study physical theatre. I work as a life drawing model and as a drama teacher in some Madrid's hospitals. For me my two jobs defines me a lot because they are related to things that I love. For me the life drawing modelling is a way to express feelings, actions, characters (so it´s very similar to theatre)... And also it's an opportunity to be part of an artistic creation. By the way, I love to draw so when I have time, I go to life drawings sessions. And in the hospitals I work with teenagers who are mental health pacients. I do different workshops with them (creativity, movement expression and drama) and is awesome be part of their recovery. I've been teaching drama for teenagers since 2019 and it's something that I love because I think they are the future and they have a lot of things to say and to express.

Other things about me:
- I love sports and nature (so hiking is something that I really really like).
- I also work with a association that works with young people and Erasmus+, so in the last years I have traveled a lot and met people from all over the world.
- I am a pescetarian and I love eating and trying new things (but I don't mind living with people who eat meat).
- I'm easy going and relaxed. As I would say in Spanish, I am very "disfrutona" (fun-loving person) 😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- In 2017 I acted in Saint Petersburg doing a play about refugees.

- In August 2019 I went to an Erasmus+ in Georgia with people from seven different countries. We discussed the issue of human rights and inclusion and it was amazing! I met a lot of fantastic humans!

- In 2019 I travelled as a backpacker for three weeks in Greece. I used Couchsurfing during that time and I think it was one of the best things of this travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, take care of pets and spend time with good conversations. And if we are in the mood, we can do sports together, yoga, dancing... We can even improvise a puppet workshop, which is something I often do in my classes and is really fun!
