About Me
--- Sorry I'm not able to host at the moment, but I'm happy to meet up ---
I grew up in France, but as soon as I got old enough to travel, living in France never really interested me. I am 38 years old and I spent most of my adult life living abroad (3.5 years in the UK, 1 year in Madagascar, 3 years in Canada, 1 year in NZ and 6.5 years in Australia).
I always wanted to keep working in my field (business management/admin), so I started off living in large cities. About 8 years ago, I switched to working online, which allowed me incredible freedom. I bought a van and started moving between intentional communities, learning how to live sustainably and grow food. I also volunteered at amazing conscious festivals, yoga retreats, and ashrams.
This new lifestyle allowed me to awaken spiritually and live a much more conscious life, aligned with my values.
I realised on the way that family is our first community, the blood ties. After more than 15 years abroad, I am now itching to be closer to my family in France (Orléans), particularly since a new soul (my amazing niece) just joined us. I don't want my own kids, so I really want to be close to her and see her grow.
I am coming back to France in mid-November 2025. My plan is to buy a ready-to-go van as soon as I arrive and live in it.
My family is not in a position to host me currently so I am humbly asking the couchsurfing soul family for people who could host me while I find my new home on wheels.
I have lots of work exchange experiences (wwoofing/workaway) so I am very happy to help you in exchange.
Let's chat!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing about 15 years ago. I travelled with it, met many like-minded people via the couchsurfing events, and I hosted every time I could.
It was my go-to website to find "my people": open-minded, who likes to travel, new experiences and discover new cultures, people who have faith in humanity and believe in supporting each other, even if we don't know each other.
I have to admit that I moved away from it when couchsurfing started asking for money. For me, it was losing its essence.
After many years, I miss this concept. I can see that no other website replaced couchsurfing, and that it is still kicking, so I'm ready to give it another go.
Interests
I'm interested in living a happy and peaceful life. For me, it's about living consciously aligned with my values.
I'm interested in spirituality and personal development.
I love practicing yoga, ecstatic dance, meditation, walking in nature and cycling.
My ideal living arrangement is living in an intentional community with like-minded people, as sustainably as possible, growing our own food and being connected with the larger community around.
No alcohol, no drugs, no smoking. Just high on life!
