ABOUT ME

I was born in the former GDR. After the wall came down I got the chance to travel. And I did! I would even say I am addicted to travelling, seeing new places and getting to know people from all over the world. I am a very open minded person. I enjoy to communicate and learn everything possible about other culures.
I almost hate those stupid all inclusive vacation where you get stucked in a hotel. I rather prefer to sleep on a couch and get to know fanatstic and interesting people visiting interesting places.

PHILOSOPHY

Vivere e lascia vivere. I do my very best to stay happy, and life my live to the fullest. And I believe everybody should. Everybody should enjoy life without caring too much about what all the others say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am living in Italy, very close to the border of switzerland. I live here with my boyfriend and his 2 cats. Our appartment is quite big. The problem are those crazy cats. They are not used to people and create disaster when something unusual happens. Right now we try to "teach" them though to come along with visitors and I hope that in the near future I will be able to host some people. Right now I can only offer a good italian coffee or a drink.

Interests

I love to travel and meet people! I try to learn as many languages as possible to be able to communicate. Part of the reason why I study tourism management. Beside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, good food (well, I chose to move from Germany to Italy....) music, the sun and the sea (or at least some kind of beach - right now I live nearby a lake).

Music, Movies, and Books

books: I am just writing my own book. That rocks! Down the road it contains my experiences since I live in Italy. And reading what I wrote so far makes me laugh...so even if it might never get published...it will amuse me when I get back to it in 30 years...LOL

music: depends on my mood. Right now it´s basicly italian (Vasco Rossi, Ligabue) but I listen to almost everything
