My purpose in life is making connections and building groups. I am co-founder of the North Texas Time Bank, a nonprofit is a network of people/organizations offering services to oneanother, using hours as the currency instead of $$.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. I have only had friends tell me that it is a wonderful opportunity for a travelers forum, and a great way to connect with and meet other travelers in the world!

Interests

All things in LIFE. My son and I live to be outside, taking walks, looking up into trees and into the night sky. We are constantly meeting new people and building community through living practices like gift giving, bartering, building relationships, educating and learning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to anything that makes me want to dance or be quiet.

My personal bible is "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran.

I am an avid follower of the Radio show, ON BEING, brought to NPR through American Public Media

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing moments of my life was when I was living in the island of Chiloé, in the southern part of Chile, and learning that I was pregnant with what was to be an amazing, bilingual, SUPER fun and beautiful half-Chilean baby boy.
