ABOUT ME

I'm simple girl who is trying to find her way to happiness! I just wish to get the end of my life (short or long one) I see myself as an useful and happy person! But .... doesn't everybody want the same? I don't know how to describe myself ...maybe I'm too young for that...but i will try ;)

I grew up in a small, conservative and undeveloped village in the countryside of Portugal. After the high school I went to Lisbon to go to the university. I did a Civil Engineering degree in Lisbon, but I was so much concentrated on my studies that I didn't profit properly the opportunity of being in Lisbon. During the master project, I found out a passion for the research I was carrying out and the opportunity for a PhD appeared, I took it ;) Then I spent 7 month in Switzerland working, but the experience much more than a simple work experience...my life is now changing! I was really very lucky with the people I have met, they helped me (even without knowing) to see that I was missing something on my life. I don't really regret any part of my past, but now I'm looking for some life's experiences because I want to discover meaning and wisdom to my life.

As soon as I learn something more about myself I will continue this section!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have my own philosophy yet...I will come back later when I find it. I will use a sentence I heard from an interesting guy I met this summer: "The life is too short to be another brick in the wall!"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm renting a room in Lisbon, so it will be difficult to host someone. However, as soon as I get my own space I will have a fancy and comfortable couch for CS ;)

Now, I will be happy to go out for a drink or for a guided tour in Lisbon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a beginner so I don't have CS experiences yet...but I can't wait for it ;)
