ABOUT ME

Ania & Peter- we are cheerful and open. W like to meet interesting people as it is always an opportunity to learn something new and practice speaking a foreign language. If you come to Lodz we can show you lots of interesting places not mentioned in any guide :). We love to travel, explore and study the ways of different cultures. We also love to explore foreign cuisines and try new kinds of foods. Peter is a dog person, Ania is a cat person therefore whichever you are you will find a common ground :) We own 2 cats and plan to take a dog from a shelter in the nearest future. We are also very fond of music - especially of the heavier kinds (from classic Rock to Death Metal).

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live - we are open and tolerant, we don't judge before we know a person. We are easygoing although Peter is the lazier one while Ania has a tendency to work a bit too hard at times.

We have a big, spare room/bedroom at our house at the moment and are happy to host people equally from abroad and from the country.

Orwell, Pratchett... Too many different things to even try to list here. We like to read in general although we don't always have time for that.

Music:

Ania likes Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Atomic Rooster, Alice Cooper, Alice in Chains and many, many more...

Peter likes Tiamat, Hypocrisy, Death, Pantera, Testament, Marillion and many, many more...

The bands mentioned above are just a few and they are mostly of mutual interest for both of us.

Movies:

We have arranged to build our own, home theater - have been watching a lot of movies, enough to call ourselves cinemaniacs I guess :) Naming favourite movies is too difficult as our movie taste spectrum is very wide - from old, black and white movies (Citizen Kain, 12 angry men) through Woody Allen up to anime (Ghost in the shell, everything from Hayao Miyazaki)

As we mentioned above, we love to learn about different cultures especially through experiences of others. We are also keen to share our ways and traditions and show interesting places in our city that would be probably omitted.
