ABOUT ME

Sobre todo pienso que la curiosidad es lo que me predomina. Me encanta conocer gente, sentir la conexión con las personas; amo la música y es mi herramienta para poder lograrlo. Siento la gran necesidad de compartir los momentos felices de mi vida con amigos y gente que quiero mucho. Me gusta ser libre y me cuesta depender de otros factores. Amo y sigo en la lucha por adquirir más conocimiento.

I believe curiosity is what prevales in me the most. I love to meet people, feeling connected to them; I love music and it is my tool to achieve this. I feel great need to share the happy moments in my life with friends and people I love very much. I like being free and I have it difficult to depend on external factors. I love and I struggle to get more knowledge.

PHILOSOPHY

Todos somos felices cuando estamos bien con nosotros mismos, cuando trabajamos con nuestros defectos y virtudes. Soy de creer mucho en que la aceptación de lo que somos y hacer lo que verdaderamente nos gusta (aunque cueste darse cuenta) es lo que más nos acerca al amor. EL AMOR NO VIENE SOLO. Al amor uno lo deja entrar.

We are all happy when we are in good terms with ourselves, when we work on our flaws and virtues. I'm much of the mind that accepting what we are and do what we truly enjoy (even though it isn't easy to realise) approaches us to love. LOVE DOE NOT COME ROUND BY ITSELF. One lets love in.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Quiero recibir gente en casa, daré preferencia a las personas que estén relacionadas con la música y el folclor de su origen, así como yo daré mis conocimientos y mostraré la forma de vida y la cultura de mi tierra. También me gustaría que sea de la misma manera cuando me reciban.

I want to host people at home, I will give priority to those who do something related with music and their original folklore, as I will impart my knowledge and show you my land's lifestyle and culture. I would also like it to be the same way when I'm hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Todavía soy nueva en esta comunidad, pero ya he recibido gente bajo la filosofía de intercambio folclórico.

I'm still new to the community, but I've hosted people under the philosophy of folklore exchange.

Intereses

Me interesa mucho el cuidado del cuerpo y la sanación natural. La conexión con uno. Disfrutar de la mañana (aunque a veces me cueste).
Permitirse. Relacionarme con las personas para aprender de mí.
DAR POR DAR. Sin que importe el fin, algo que nos cuesta a todos y sin embargo da placer hacerlo.

I'm very much interested in bodycare and natural healing. The connection to the self. Enjoying the morning (although sometimes I find it hard).
Allowing oneself. Relating to people to learn about myself.
GIVING FOR THE SAKE OF GIVING. Regardless what comes in return, something that's hard for us all but pleases us so much.

Música, películas y libros

MÚSICA:
TODA. La analizo y siempre intento tener un punto objetivo de lo que escucho.
CINE:
Sobre todo el independiente (las películas taquilleras de Holliwood, hace años que no las veo más).
LIBROS:
Me atraen por mi profesión todo lo que posea un análisis etnolingüístico de las culturas afro.
Me gusta mucho la poesía, sobre todo la contemporánea. Julio Cortázar es mi amor platónico (aunque lo engaño con Galeano).
LUGARES:
Cualquier lugar en el mundo donde haya un grupo de gente cantando, tocando.
El norte de mi país es parte de mí.

MUSIC:
ALL OF IT. I analyse it and I always try to have an objective point of what I hear.
FILMS:
Independent industry above all (I haven't watched Hollywood films in ages).
BOOKS:
I'm attracted, due to what I do, to everything that includes an ethnolinguistic analysis of the afro cultures.
I like poetry very much, especially contemporary. Julio Cortázar is my platonic love (although I cheat on him with Galeano).
PLACES:
Any place in the world where there is a group of people singing, playing.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Por mi profesión siento que vivo enseñando y aprendiendo a la vez, con mis alumnos sobre todo. Cuando viajo y toco, todo lo que voy viviendo me va enseñando.
Comparto muchísimo de mí a través de la música a donde vaya. Así como siento que lo que me rodea me enseña también.

Due to my profession, I feel I live teaching and learning at the same time, with my students in particular. When I travel and play, everything I live through teaches me.
I share a lot of myself through music wherever I go. A I feel what surrounds me teaches me back.
