HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is new to me! I wish I get the chance to make friends through CS.. I also hope that I help build trust and expand the CS community by being respectful and kind to hosts and guests and their cultures.

I can take my host to have a meal or drinks somewhere. I'll be generous to those who are generous to me.

Interests

Travelling is my passion... I love to experience different cultures.. I like learning languages.. my mother tongue is Arabic. I speak English fluently. I tried learning French but no luck :p I know some Spanish (I understand more than I can speak) and I'm eager to improve it through immersing myself in the culture.
I like watching football... I am a big Real Madrid fan :D
I like skiing and scuba diving...and I love the outdoors!
And I like salsa dancing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I like the great thriller, drama, crime, and black comedy such as Quentin Tarantino movies (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, etc.), the Coen brothers' movies (Fargo, The Big Lebowski, etc.), Martin Scorsese movies. I also enjoy good comedies and some action. I make sure the movies are highly rated before I go watch them at the movie theatre (trying to spend my time wisely :p

Music:
I enjoy anything good.. Arabic and latin music are in the top. I like Fairuz, Mohammad Abdo, Umm Kulthum... I like Fonseca, Marc Anthony, and good salsa music. I like Jack Johnson music and other musicians in the same genre.

Books:
I like Paulo Coelho's writings (The Alchemist, Veronica Decides to Die..). I liked One Hundred Years of Solitude and Outliers, .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood at the south rim of the Grand Canyon at sunset! Amazing colors and absolutely majestic!
