I prefer to host I guess. You meet a lot of interesting people without any effort. People who consider you place as a hotel are rare, although I had this sad experience

many! ice-diving in 30 C below zero, flying in an air-tube, going to india from moscow just for 2 days to attend my friend´s wedding, living in africa during civil war (no any water, electricity for months, no phone connection), seeing snow in Atacama desert, meeting angels in bodies of human-beings who always protect and help me in my life and trips!
