About Me

Hi everyone!
I'm Anastasia (or Nastia)

I have spent my summer holidays of last years in some trips in Russia - to Ural mountains, Western Siberia and numerous places in central Russia (so, I mostly have seen Russian places in my life). I'm a car driver and a tent-tourist as well.

In my students time I spent some time in a heart of several Nature reserves in Russia, so I know what does it mean to be one on one with nature.
I also have a small vegetable garden in the village where my family lived for many decades already. So, I spend some of my time in contact with earth and plants - and this what I believe to be the best antistress.

What is also a good time of my life - it's travelling by railway! The best moment is when you just look from a carriage window on some forests and villages for several hours.

I try to live in Zero Waste style of life - and now my family (me and my husband) are almost zero waste - we throw away about 5-10 kg of waste a year, the other waste are being recycled or reused.

My phylosophy is being open minded and system-thinking and looking for consensus in any disagreement.

I'm a vegetarian and also I don't drink alcohol

For me the best communication is just a good talk and not a noizy party

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think that the best souvenir is not a fridga magnet :) So, I try to bring something unusual from Russia - Russian bread (yes, it's really unusual!) or some other thing that is not produced as a souvenir just to be souvenir.

I have seen a lot of Russia, so I can tell all about how it works or even sing some folk songs; I will be happy to cook some vegeterian food or russian traditional food.

Surely, that's great if you are learning russian or going to visit Russia - then, I think, I could be useful for you.
