I'm Anastasia, an artist based in Montreal. Friendly, open-minded, easy-going, adventurous, globetrotter whenever possible. I'm a foodie, loving coffee, tea, wine and cheese. I've always been attracted by meeting new people, learning about new cultures and local traditions, experiencing new things. I like discussions, mostly when it comes to share creativity and new ideas with people from all horizons!

Optimistic, I'm outgoing, happy most of the time and have a healthy and strong mind. When I face a problem in life I tend to focus on the positive side of things, even if sometimes this might seem hard.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Simply because I love it! Meeting locals and travelers during my trips or at home when they are visiting my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had different experiences in couchsurfing and it has been fantastic so far.
I used it during 3 differents roadtrips in Québec (Canada) to find couches and meet people, during two month of backpacking across Canada and Alaska and most recently during a backpack trip in Mexico (Yucatan & Quintana Roo).

I'm active and easily dive into new challenges.
I really like meeting people from everywhere and having conversations with persons of all ages.
I like arts and sports precisely water sports, beach volley, tennis, horse riding. Volunteer work, films, food, nightlife... I like to hang out, drink good wine and beers most of all good gin-tonic!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I swam with whales in Mexico, worked at the beer festival in Belgium, made a great horseback ride in the Alps of France, saw the midnight sun in Russia and Alaska, participated in the feeding of wolves at the Mercantour Park.
I went skydiving, so good I did it twice (first in Belgium, second in France) !
And most recently I hitchhiked with my good friend Marianne from Montreal to Alaska and after down to Vancouver. It was such an adventure!
And many others but I'll tell you more about it when we meet.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach french, madison dance, cook some french "crêpes" and carry out an art workshop full of colors !
