books...almost anything by iain banks, samuel becketts plays, angela carters short stories, the simply brilliant writings of gabriel garcia marquez, the genius of clive barker (a few fiction authors i'll mention among the many whose imagination and creative talent with the written word has entranced and captivated); the book of the way (or, the way of power), the floating world, the art of war, unbeaten tracks in japan, the tao of pooh & the te of piglet, the writings of carl jung (a small homage to the many philosophers and travellers who's journeys, questions and teachings challenge us to think more deeply); the magical spike milligan & dr suess (who's uncontainable imaginations continue to capture and entrance), just finished the epic "shantaram" - an absolute 'must read!' and last but never, ever least, maurice sendak, author & illustrator of the most bewitching and my favourite book ever, where the wild things are...
