关于我
Hi! I’m Anastasiya — born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine 🇺🇦. I’m curious, warm-hearted, and love connecting with people from around the world. I believe that sharing stories, cultures, and laughter over a cup of tea (or a glass of wine 😄) is one of the best ways to grow and feel human.
I work remotely in digital design, which gives me the freedom to explore new places and meet fascinating people. I’m quite easygoing, love spontaneous adventures, and try to find beauty in small things—like a good sunset, a soulful song, or a homemade meal.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I believe travel is about people, not just places. Couchsurfing is such a special way to experience cities through locals' eyes, and I’m excited to return the favor whenever I can in Kyiv!
I’ve had amazing conversations and unforgettable memories thanks to this community—and I hope to create many more. Whether you need a place to crash, a walking buddy, or someone to cook Ukrainian borscht with, I’m happy to host or meet up.

音乐、电影和书籍
Music
I have a pretty eclectic taste! I love everything from indie and acoustic to deep house and old-school rock. Some favorites are Florence + The Machine, Arctic Monkeys, Okean Elzy (of course!), and a bit of retro 80s when I’m cleaning or dancing in my room 😄. Music is my daily therapy—I’m always open to discovering new artists from around the world.
Movies
I’m a fan of movies that make you feel something or shift your perspective. Favorites include Amélie, Into the Wild, Before Sunrise, Her, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I also love documentaries and sometimes a good psychological thriller—depends on the mood!
Books
I read a mix of fiction and nonfiction. I love authors like Haruki Murakami, Ernest Hemingway, and Paulo Coelho. I’m also into memoirs, travel stories, and books on creativity and self-growth. One of my all-time favorites is The Alchemist—simple, but full of wisdom.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I took a solo trip across the Balkans with just a backpack, no fixed plan, and a journal. I couchsurfed, hitchhiked, got lost (more than once!), and had the most unexpected conversations with strangers who became friends. That journey taught me more about kindness, trust, and myself than any book ever could. It reminded me that the world is full of good people—and that magic often happens when you step out of your comfort zone.
教,学,和分享
Teach – I’d be happy to teach you a few Ukrainian (or Russian) phrases, how to cook traditional dishes like varenyky or borscht, or share some design tips if you're into art or creativity. I can also help with photo editing or anything visual!
Learn – I love learning about different cultures, local customs, and languages—especially cool slang or idioms! Teach me how you cook your favorite meal or tell me a story from your hometown—I’ll be all ears.
Share – I can share my travel stories, good music, cozy playlists, and thoughtful conversations. I also love sharing moments—like watching sunsets, exploring a hidden spot in the city, or simply laughing over coffee.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
I’m a respectful and tidy guest who always tries to bring good vibes and a small piece of my culture with me. I’m happy to share:
Stories from Ukraine and my travels
Ukrainian cooking (I make a mean borscht and can show you how!)
Language exchange (Ukrainian, Russian, or English practice)
Music playlists and deep chats about life, art, or random topics
Help around the house, a shared meal, or just good company
I truly value connection, and I’m always grateful when someone opens their home. I’ll do my best to make it a positive and memorable exchange!
