About Me
Hi! I'm Anastasia, a curious and adventurous traveller originally from Belarus but currently living in Poland.
My boyfriend Alex and I recently graduated from university and we are passionate about travel, languages and different cultures. I studied economics and am currently working as a business analyst, while Alex studied physics, mathematics and programming and now is working as a software engineer.
Couchsurfing is the perfect platform for us to connect with others and expand our horizons. We are respectful, open-minded, and eager to make new friends and memories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to experience new places through the eyes of locals and to connect with people from all over the world. I believe in the power of human connection and value the memories and relationships formed through Couchsurfing.

I am really into travelling, learning new languages (I am currently focused on improving my German), dancing and music festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2019, Alex and I went on an adventurous trip to France as volunteers for an international dance festival with only $100 per person. During our stay in Bordeaux, we had the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the local culture and meet amazing Couchsurfers. Although we encountered some unexpected challenges, such as one of the Couchsurfers let us down in Krakow, however, it didn't spoil our mood at all. Our unforgettable overnight experience at the train station became a cherished memory of our trip. Spending time with the hosts enabled us to truly experience the authentic side of the places we visited and made our trip even more meaningful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a traveler, I believe in giving back to the communities that welcome me. I can share my experiences, cultural background, and interests, as well as traditional Belarusian dishes and my positive energy. Alex can offer technical conversation about his areas of expertise in technology, mathematics, and programming. We both look forward to spending meaningful time with our hosts and learning about their lives, cultures, and perspectives.
